Extrusion Lamination

In the extrusion sector the use of edge fixing electrostatic charge bars is essential. The ACE EP/3 solution, consist of  two charging bars equipped with three electrodes, installed at the two sides of the extruded film on the chill-roll drum, to completely eliminate the problem of shrinkage of the film (neck-in), or the bending of the edges.

IONDUAL 24V antistatic bars instead helps a trouble free film winding without accumulation of electrostatic charges on it at all speeds.

Here also applies ACE Electrostatic Changeover System. With the help Electrostatic Assistance, it replaces the traditional manual application of double-side tape adhesive, normally used to fix the film on the cartonboard core for the winding of new rolls.

Lamination

During lamination process, any dust deposits on one of the reels which are coupled together generates areas of missing or imperfect adhesion between the parts, which is why it makes it necessary to adopt web cleaners.

ACE designed the high-performance Contact less DM solution, offering excellent performance at any line speed. Then the use of antistatic IONDUAL 24V bars eliminates all the problems generated by the electrostatic charge, due to the running of materials through the process. Great performance are then acquired by the laminating line, thanks to ACE technology.
