STATIC Ribbon Charging System

	Ribbon Charging System The ACE Ribbon Charging system was designed to improve the productivity of machines for printing periodicals and magazines. In fact, its function is to create electrostatic charges (positive on one side and negative on the other) in paper ribbons as they pass through the folding machine, or to be more precise, before the cutting section. Thanks to this application of multi-polar static electricity, the paper ribbons adhere perfectly to each other, thus forming a single substrate and eliminating the air cushion within them due to high production speeds. The advantages gained from using the ACE system are: • the prevention of movement between pages before cutting • the elimination of dog-ears from page corners • perfectly regular edges and a better finish • increased production speeds • reduced production waste The system is commonly installed on the folding units of rotogravure presses for magazines and periodicals printing.
